Design Notes: The Rain Chain Necklaces are reminiscent of the decorative yet functional Japanese rain chains and what better symbol to use to celebrate all the rainfall we receive in the Pacific Northwest’s temperate rainforest. Most of the color combinations was chosen by my son when he was a teenager and still living with us. The rain Chain Necklaces measure 1.75″ x 1.25″ across the beaded section with varying lengths of dangling chain, and are strung on 18″ long leather cord with a 2″ plated base-metal extender chain and lobster clasp.
